Welcome to Division 2 Humanities

For the final trimester in Constitution Nation, students finished exploring the questions of why and how people organize. First, students each chose their own government structure to research, working to examine the first instances of the structure, as well as where it is still present today, and then making an easy to digest brochure about their system. Following this, they read George Orwell's 1984 and then wrote their own dystopian short stories in exploration of how systems go wrong. Finally, students chose countries to research. They had to identify a modern conflict within their country and explain the historical roots of that conflict. Enjoy!
