Daniel Selsky – Counselor

Daniel started in schools as a history teacher and cross country/track and field coach at a charter school for middle and high school students in Miami, FL. After moving to New York, Daniel continued to coach at Hunter College while earning a Master’s in Sport Management from St. John’s University. When Daniel moved to Massachusetts, he coached at Lesley University, taught sport management courses at Fisher College, and worked at a small independent school in Concord, MA as a physical education teacher, after-school coordinator, and college counselor. Daniel decided to change careers and went back to school. He attended Simmons University, pursuing a Master’s in Social Work with a Certificate in Trauma. While completing his program, Daniel was a school counseling intern at Concord-Carlisle High School and an intern at Lahey Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic. Daniel enjoys working with and supporting students to navigate the challenges and successes of adolescence. When he is not counseling or teaching, he is probably out running and exploring new trails or roads, cooking, or learning to crochet. Daniel joined Meridian in 2025.
