Meridian climbers take on the Rock Spot

This fall, Meridian students are taking on new risks and adventures in our rock-climbing club. Every other Wednesday, climbers travel to the Rock Spot in Boston, where everyone from beginners to experts are welcome. The sport is challenging for all levels -- some students climb a few feet off the ground, and others scale an entire wall. About a third of the school participates, and students can join or take a break from climbing each trimester. As climbers Jo and Izzy said, "Our first day of climbing was a lot of fun. We were hanging off rocks and playing games. Everyone was a little -- or a lot -- sore the next day! It looks like it's going to be a blast."
