So, what is Exhibitions?

Exhibition Evening is Meridian’s motto brought to life.

  • See student curiosity in the breadth of projects that they create

  • See creativity in the variety of ways that students express an idea or solve a problem

  • See community in how students discuss their work and their peers’ work

Happening three times a year, this public event is a celebration of learning where every student serves as guide to what they’ve accomplished in their classes during the trimester.

Here are some major highlights that we encourage you to go check out:

What can Meridianites do by the time they graduate?

Go check out the literature review papers that juniors just finished in their research seminar!

They explore questions, such as “How is Native American history taught in U.S. elementary schools? What factors determine the content and what efforts are underway to improve it?” and “How has fashion been used as a socio-economic status marker in the second half of the 20th century?”

What happens when math and science are not just learned but applied?

Chat live with Division 1 students about their plant symposium.

Check out student-made videos about the many ways of using quadratic equations and how each way works in Division 3.

8th grade Marine Science students use two- and three-dimensional linear programming methods to find the optimal solution to a novel problem that they posed to solve business and other problems.

What are classes like when the arts and creativity are an integral part of school life?

Explore the intersections between the Vietnam War, game theory, and art in Division 4's cross-disciplinary Humanities and MST class.

Theater students selected a piece of work from the movie "The Mist" to the play "Hamlet" to the comedy "Derry Girls" and more and adapted them to a different medium.

Come enjoy a variety of student-made educational projects that explore fake news and how to combat it.
