Jueves 19 de enero Choose 3 athletes and write 5 to 7 full sentences in Spanish on their lives (name, sport, club, physical description, why are they famous, etc…)  Remember to double space your work.
Martes 17 de enero 1.  Write 2 sentences (one in the "yo" and one in the "tú" forms) for each one of the following verbs.  Once you write a sentence find a picture online that illustrates the content of your sentence.
Ser,   Estar,   Tener,   Hacer,   Ir,   Querer,   Saber,   Traer,   Poner,   Poder.

2.  Write a question with each one of the following words:
Qué,  Dónde,  Cuándo,  Quién,  Cómo,  Cuál,  Cuáles,   Quién,  Quiénes,  Por qué.

4.  We will be eating lunch at school.
Lunes 19 de diciembre 1.  Write 5 questions for each of the followig verbs: Ir, Tener and Querer (15 en Total). Then ask your family and/or friends these questions and write the answers down in Spanish (30 sentences total). Bring these questions and answers on a piece of paper whether you did it by hand or by computer.

4.  Start working on your Artistic Proyect for Exhibitions.
Jueves 8 de diciembre 1.  Bring 12 facts en Espanol and English on the topic you are working on from the Pre Columbian Empires.
2.  Bring materials you would need to in order to work on your idea for Exhibition Night.
Lunes 5 de diciembre 1.  Do pages 1-5 of your workbooks.  Please read the instructions carefully.
2.  Students that have not done their presentations, Monday is your last day.  Please finish them and send them to me.   
Martes 29 de noviembre Choose one aspect from your Indigenous group (Aztecas, Mayas, Incas) and prepare a 2-3 minute PowerPoint presentation –like our presentations from BBCMundo. Some aspects include: human sacrifices, el quipu, Nazca lines, Tenochtitlan, calendars, etc. Please follow these instructions:

1. Choose a topic of your liking based on our previous homework (general info on your group).

2. Send me an email asking for approval on your topic. This way no 2 topics will be identical.

3. Create a PowerPoint presentations, with tittles and images, but NO text.

4. Send me your presentation via email, and cc it to yourself; make sure that it was sent successfully and that it opens.

5. Practice your oral presentation at home.
 
Viernes 18 de noviembre Find 13 important/relevant facts on the Imperios Indígenas Americanos: Aztecas, Mayas, Incas.  You have write these facts using your own words, you CANNOT just copy and paste.  You can do so in either English or Spanish or BOTH.

Lunes 14 de noviembre Write 1 sentence for every Irregular verb there is in Present, and Preterite in the Verb Page I gave you.  Every sentence has to have a reference of time (i.e. yesterday, today, tonight, etc).  Following each sentences, please translate into English what you did.  
Por ejemplo:
Todos los viernes, yo voy al cine con mis amigos.
Every Friday, I go to the movies with my friends.
