How to Help
There are many ways that you can be a part of supporting this exciting new school for Boston area students.
Volunteer to serve on a committee. If you have a relevant area of expertise or are just willing to work hard, please consider joining the Space, Fundraising, Outreach, Administration, or Curriculum committees. If you have particular strengths in development, outreach, human resources, or work for an organization that would partner with Meridian around curricular activities and would like to commit your time to this work, please consider serving on our board. Contact Joshua Abrams at info@meridianacademy.org or 617-522-1118 to be put in touch with the appropriate committee chair.
Spread the Word! Tell friends, especially those with school-age children, about the school. Encourage them to call, check the web site, or come to a meeting.
Donate equipment. We could use many items, including laptop computers (with at least one USB port), digital video cameras, digital still cameras, and science equipment (microscopes).
Contribute to our scholarship fund or to our capital fund to help with the costs of starting our school. All contributions will be tax-deductible as Meridian is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
You may contribute by check or credit card:
By Check: Please print out this form and send it along with a check made out to "Meridian Academy", 182 Durnell Avenue, Roslindale, MA 02131-3419.
By Credit Card: Donate online with a credit card at CommunityRoom.net by clicking here and then clicking on the purple "Give to this Nonprofit" button on the right hand side of the page.
